Of Dress up Dolls and Silliness

So I was playing around with this game, by Rinmaru Games, and just for fun I tried my hand at depicting a character of mine. She’s known for her stoicism.

Then I got to the hands section, and while all of the selections are lovely, most of them…did not fit her character. Silliness ensued.

She’s totally humoring someone. Who, I’m not sure, but someone.

*deadpan voice* “Pikachu. I choose you.”

What’s she playing that has her so nonplussed? The world may never know…

“A rose by any other name…would have thorns just as sharp.”

I call this one ‘Across the Interrogation Table.’

“You see this face? This is my ‘unamused’ face.”

“What’s in the glass? Nobody knows. Care to try a sip?”

Aaaaand, last but not least:

“…It’s too early for this.”

That one might be my favorite. ^w^ Anyway, hope you enjoyed the dash of silly!

How about you? Do you guys like dress up doll games?

Look at it!
Just look at it! Isn’t it just so adorable? ❤ ❤ ❤
This is a pattern from my friend Koko’s blog, Lollipops and Rainbows. You can find a link to her blog in the ‘Friends’ page! She has some really cool crafts! Why don’t you go check it out? :3

Lollipops and rainbows

I AM SO SORRY! This post is late. I have reasons, but let’s just say . . . I hate school. But anyway, a knit fun fur pillow. Enjoy!

You’ll need

  • fun fur (duh. That’s the point.)
  • a nice color yarn to go with it (I did white fun fur with pink multi-colored sock yarn)
  • size 8 knitting needles

Row 1: Cast on 34 stitches or as wide as you want it to be.

Knit all rows to as long as you want the pillow to be. Finish off. Make another piece. Sew the two pieces together, leaving a small gap. Stuff the pillow and sew the gap closed. Proceed to hug, stroke, cuddle, and snuggle with your awesomely soft fun fur pillow.

As you may or may not have noticed, I have added a nifty little thing to my blog! It’s an interactive program-thingie (don’t you just love how specific I am?) that features an adorable dog! You can give him treats, give him a bone, get him to sit, lay down, and roll over, and play ball with him! If you want to add your own little feature, you can find them here. There are also penguins, turtles, fish, and many other animals!

. . . Unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to shift it over just a teensy bit, so it’s sticking out of the bar a bit. And I also don’t know how to get it to save the changes that I made. . . TT_TT If any of you figure out how to get it to do either of those things, please let me know!

Have a great time, guys!
